Release notes
Each version below lists what you notice after updating. The complete technical history is in the plugin’s CHANGELOG.md.
0.10.1 — 2026-09-19
Section titled “0.10.1 — 2026-09-19”- Deleting the plugin keeps your data. Definitions and record values
stay unless
PCPTPAGES_REMOVE_ALL_DATAis set. Up to version 0.10.0 it removed the record-type and grouping definitions. - Deleting a record through the connector now really trashes it.
Records of custom types were deleted permanently while the response said
they had gone to the trash. They now go to the trash unless
forceis sent, a record already in the trash stays there, and the response reports what actually happened. - A type’s
rewriteaddress now takes effect. Types registered through the connector were published under their internal slug, such as/pt_meeting/…, whatever address was set. Old addresses redirect to the new ones. max_items: 0means no cap, as documented; it used to be refused.- Status badges show on records without a featured image. An Image overlay field such as Cancelled used to disappear; it now shows above the title, and on Promptless WP post grid cards in the card text.
- The map’s Get directions link is readable on dark pages, and the map panel follows the page’s light or dark surface.
- Event sorting works on an all-dates grid.
event_sortset tosoonestorlatestorders a grid with no date filter by event date. - Taxonomy filters list only terms the type’s records use, so a shared Categories filter no longer offers the blog’s categories.
- Changes reach visitors at once. Field values, groupings and hiding set through the connector, changed field definitions, and new records that a grouping lists used to wait up to an hour for the page cache to expire.
- All-day events stay current through their last day, and a record with no end date is judged by its start instead of dropping out of both lists.
- Times sent with a UTC offset are stored correctly, in the event’s time zone; they used to be stored at the UTC time.
- A long event stays in the type’s calendar feed while it runs.
- The admin keeps what it does not show. Saving a type keeps an address
set through the connector; the Meta match form has Post field key,
Records of type and Match against, so reverse lookups can be saved
there; Remove keeps grouping definitions; and new types start with the
author and date bylines off. A Default icon set through the connector
as an Iconify code, such as
mdi:tools, is kept too; saving used to reset it to none. list_postsreturns plain titles instead of HTML entities such as&.- Grouping items no longer advertise a link text or new-tab option that never worked. A linked item is one link over the whole card.
0.10.0 — 2026-09-14
Section titled “0.10.0 — 2026-09-14”- Feed images. Records created or synced through the connector can carry
featured_image_url; the image is downloaded once per address and set as the featured image. - Archive pages load only the card stylesheet, with no change to how they look.
0.9.1 — 2026-09-12
Section titled “0.9.1 — 2026-09-12”- A maintenance release that passes the WordPress Plugin Check with no errors; nothing changes in how the plugin behaves.
0.9.0 — 2026-09-12
Section titled “0.9.0 — 2026-09-12”- Calendars for event types. Each event record has Add to calendar
and Google Calendar links, and each event type has a subscribable
feed at
/{type}/feed/ics/. - Import and sync. Records mirroring another system are matched by source and external ID, so re-sending never duplicates and unchanged records are skipped.
- Right-to-left languages get mirrored stylesheets.
- Removing a type’s data through the connector is faster on large types and now includes records in the trash.
- Skip to content now moves keyboard focus into the page on record pages.
0.8.1 — 2026-09-06
Section titled “0.8.1 — 2026-09-06”- Skip to content works on record pages.
0.8.0 — 2026-09-02
Section titled “0.8.0 — 2026-09-02”- The connector can list and delete records, including records left behind by a removed type.
- Registering a type again reports what came back with it.
- Removing a type through the connector now keeps its grouping definitions, so registering it again restores everything.
- Fixed: saving a grouping created many unneeded database entries; old ones are cleaned up once on update.
- The connector works with local HTTPS development sites.
0.7.2 — 2026-08-21
Section titled “0.7.2 — 2026-08-21”- Location maps. A Location / map (address) field shows a map on the record’s page, with no API key, placed above or below the content or in the sidebar, and falls back to the Business Identity address.
