WooCommerce

The theme supports WooCommerce. Shop, product category, product, cart, checkout and account pages sit inside the theme’s header and footer, use Promptless WP’s fonts, colours, buttons and container width, and follow the Content Theme setting. You can add a cart icon to the header. None of this applies unless WooCommerce is active.

To show products on a Promptless page, use Promptless WP’s Product Grid section; see WooCommerce Integration.

  • Shop and category pages show the page title and, on category and tag pages, the description, with products three to a row by default. Product titles and add-to-cart buttons are sized to match the Product Grid section.
  • Product pages have image zoom, a lightbox and a gallery slider. Product tabs scroll sideways on phones.
  • Cart, checkout and account pages are ordinary WordPress pages. On phones their tables become stacked cards instead of running off the screen.
  • Sale badges read “Sale”, matching the Product Grid section.
  • Breadcrumbs: shop, product and product category pages keep WooCommerce’s own breadcrumb; the theme’s trail is not added there.
  • Speed: on pages that do not need them, the theme stops WooCommerce’s stylesheets and scripts from loading. They load on store pages, on pages with a Promptless WP Product Grid section, and on every page while the header cart icon is on. Up to version 1.4.0 a Product Grid page was missed, so with the cart icon off its Add to cart buttons had no WooCommerce script or styles.
  1. Go to Appearance → Customize → Header → Cart. The Cart section appears only while WooCommerce is active.
  2. Tick Show Cart Icon.
  3. Choose Cart Icon Behavior.
  4. Select Publish.

The mini-cart updates when a product is added without the page reloading. Its buttons use Promptless WP’s ghost and primary button styles.

The connector does not set the cart icon; use the Customizer.

  • The Cart section is missing from the Customizer. WooCommerce is not active.
  • There is no shop sidebar. Store pages are one column. Appearance → Widgets lists a Shop Sidebar area, but the theme does not display it.
  • Store pages cannot be built with Promptless WP. WooCommerce renders them; see WooCommerce Integration for which pages the builder can and cannot make.
