Plugin Settings

Promptless WP adds a Promptless WP menu to wp-admin. Most screens on it need the promptless_manage_settings capability, which administrators have by default (see Departments and Editor Access). Design settings such as colours, fonts and spacing are not in wp-admin: they are in the editor’s Global Settings.

AI Settings

Option	What it does
OpenAI API Key	Turns on AI section generation and document import. Promptless WP uses OpenAI’s GPT-4.1; there is no model choice. Test Connection checks the key, Disconnect removes it. Save with Save Changes.
Replicate API Key	Turns on AI image generation in the editor (Replicate’s FLUX models). Save it with Save API Key; Test Connection and Disconnect work as above.
Pexels API Key, Pixabay API Key	Turn on stock photo search and import. Add either or both; both providers have free keys.
Default provider	Which stock provider is searched first: Pexels or Pixabay.
Safe search (filter explicit results)	Filters explicit images out of stock searches. Save both preferences with Save Preferences.

The OpenAI key is stored encrypted with the site’s WordPress security keys (AUTH_KEY in wp-config.php). If those keys change, for example after moving to a new server, the screen shows API Key Recovery Required: enter the key again.

Business Identity

These details are output as schema.org Organization or LocalBusiness structured data for search engines. The Map section can also use the address. Save with Save Business Identity.

Option	What it does
Business Type	The schema type, for example Organization or a LocalBusiness type such as Restaurant. Left on — Not set (no schema emitted) —, nothing is output.
Business Name	Required: without a name, no business schema is output.
Phone, Email	Contact details.
Street, City, State / Region, Postal / ZIP Code, Country	The address. Optional, and partial addresses are allowed. Needed only for a business with a physical location.
Hours	For each day, Closed or Open: and Close: times. Closed days are left out.
Social Links	Profiles on other platforms, as full https:// addresses. + Add another link adds a row.

Bulk Page Creator

Creates empty WordPress pages with a parent and child structure from a text outline. Anyone who can edit pages can use it.

1. In Page Outline, enter one page title per line. A leading dash (-) makes a child page and two dashes (--) a grandchild. To set a slug, add it after a pipe: About Us | about.
2. Choose Page Status: Draft, Published or Private.
3. Select Preview Structure, check the tree, then Create Pages.
4. Optionally create a menu from the same structure: enter a Menu Name, choose Assign to Location, and select Create Menu.

Data Management

Option	What it does	Default
Delete all section data when uninstalling plugin	When ticked, deleting the plugin also deletes every page’s sections and Promptless settings. When clear, deleting the plugin leaves them in the database, so reinstalling brings them back. Save with Save Data Protection Settings.	Off
Clear All Data	Under Danger Zone. Deletes the sections of every page at once and turns the builder off on them. It asks for confirmation and cannot be undone.	—

The screen also shows Pages with Sections, Total Sections and Data Size, and your licence plan.

Caution

Clear All Data removes content from every page. Take a database backup first. See Backup & Security.

Cache Management

Promptless WP saves AI responses for 24 hours so the same request is not paid for twice. The screen shows how many responses are saved and their size. Clear AI Cache deletes them.

Clear it after changing AI settings, or when you want fresh AI output for the same input. It does not affect pages, page speed or any page cache. See Performance.

Settings outside the Promptless WP menu

Limits and common problems

• A screen is missing from the menu. Your account does not have the promptless_manage_settings capability. Administrators have it; ask one to make the change or do the task.
• AI features stopped working after a move. The security keys changed. Enter the OpenAI key again on AI Settings.
• Test Connection fails. Check the key was copied whole and that the account with that provider is active and has credit.
