Section Types

The 13 section types, what each is for, and every layout and option they offer.

  • Hero Sections — The banner at the top of a page: its content fields, the five layout modes, media, backgrounds, logo row and boxed layout.
  • Features Sections — Cards, rows or a carousel for services, benefits, events or price lists — the six display styles, the card fields and every layout option.
  • Stats Sections — Figures such as counts, percentages and years, with an optional count-up animation — the four display styles, the stat fields and every option.
  • Testimonials Sections — Customer quotes as a grid, a scrolling row, a carousel, a ticker, a stack beside your copy or one large quote — plus star ratings and review schema.
  • Checklist Sections — Short items with a check mark or icon, as a list, cards or beside a large image — with optional headed groups and a call-to-action banner.
  • FAQ Sections — Questions and answers as an accordion, tabs or an always-open list, with FAQ structured data added for search engines.
  • Team Sections — Staff, leadership or department members with photos, roles, bios and links, as a grid, a list or one featured member.
  • Pricing Sections — Plans and prices as a pricing table, or items with images and prices as product cards, with Product structured data for plans that have a real price.
  • Steps Sections — Numbered steps for a process or procedure, as a connected list, cards, editorial rows or beside a large image, with HowTo structured data.
  • Post Grid Sections — Show posts or Promptless CPT Pages records as a grid, list, featured layout or carousel, with an optional filter bar visitors can use to narrow the results.
  • Product Grid Sections — Show WooCommerce products on any page as a grid or carousel, filtered by category and sorted by date, price, popularity or rating.
  • Gallery Sections — A grid of images and videos below or beside the section content, with a full-screen lightbox, captions and optional links.
  • Map Sections — A Google Map of one address, with no API key, shown as the visitor scrolls to it or only after they click. Which mode to choose for privacy and keyboard accessibility.
