SEO Panel & Schema

Promptless WP builds schema.org structured data from the sections on each page, so search engines can read a FAQ as questions and answers, steps as a how-to, and prices as offers. You do not write any markup. The SEO button in the editor toolbar opens a panel where you audit the page, see the structured data it produces, and correct the page’s type.

  • Before publishing a page, to check for problems and confirm what search engines will see.
  • A page’s structured data describes it as the wrong kind of page.
  • Your testimonials come from Google, Trustpilot or another independent review platform, and you want them marked up as reviews.

For how Promptless WP shares this work with SEO plugins such as Yoast SEO, see SEO & Analytics.

  1. Open the page in the Promptless WP editor and select SEO in the toolbar.
  2. On the Audit tab, fix any findings. The checks, section badges and the save warning are covered in Audit While You Edit.
  3. On the Schema tab, look at the structured data the page produces. Use Copy JSON-LD to copy it, and Refresh after saving to see your changes.
  4. For a published page, select Open in Google Rich Results Test to see which rich results Google considers it eligible for.

Promptless WP works out what kind of page this is from its sections. For example, a page with Features and a Hero, FAQ, Pricing or Testimonials section is treated as a service page, and a Steps page without Features as a how-to. The type decides whether Service data is built.

  1. Open SEO and select the Page type tab.
  2. Choose a type from Page type. The change saves straight away and shows Saved.

Your choice is kept until you set it back to Auto-detect. An AI assistant using the connector can suggest a type when it builds a page, but your choice in the editor wins.

Google’s rules forbid marking up testimonials you collected yourself as reviews. Promptless WP therefore builds no Review data unless you say the testimonials come from an independent platform and give the source of each one.

  1. Select the Testimonials section and open its Layout tab.
  2. Under Review Schema, set Review Source to Third-Party. The default is Self-Collected.
  3. On the Content tab, fill in Review Source (for example “Google”) and Original Review URL for each testimonial.

Testimonials missing either field still display, but are left out of the structured data.

  • No Organization or LocalBusiness data. Set Business Name and Business Type on Promptless WP → Business Identity. With Yoast SEO or Rank Math active, those plugins supply this data instead, from their own settings.
  • No Service data. The page is not a service page. Set Page type to Service page.
  • A pricing plan is missing from the data. Its price is not a number.
  • The Schema tab shows the old data. It reads the saved page. Save, then select Refresh.
  • No Rich Results Test link. The page has no public address yet. Publish it first.
  • Structured data makes a page eligible for rich results, not certain to get them. Google decides whether to show them.
  • You cannot turn off one type of section data. It follows from the sections on the page. Remove the section, or change Page type for Service data.
